How to Log into DreamBox SIGN-IN USING YOUR DREAMBOX LOGIN WEBSITE (Computer) • Open Internet browser. • Go to your school's unique DreamBox login web address ( • The school DreamBox login page will open. Have students enter their username and password. SIGN-IN USING YOUR DREAMBOX SCHOOL CODE (iPad) 1) Open DreamBox. 2) From the 'Welcome' screen, select School. 3) Enter your school's unique school code ( PUW5/WISSAHICKONCS) and tap Play. Note: you will only have to enter this code once for each device unless the app is deleted. 4) Pick classroom from list. 5) Students will be asked to enter their username and password, then tap Play to begin DreamBox. REVIEW YOUR STUDENTS' USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS • To view student login information, first log in to your Insight Dashboard and select the name of the classroom from the Navigation Pane on the left-hand side of your screen. The Reports Pane on the right-hand side will update, showing the Overview, Activity, Standards, Usage, AssignFocus, and Roster • Click the Roster tab to see the list of students and their login information. AssignFocus - How to Create Assignments *AssignFocus enables teachers to give students up to two assignments at a time from across all DreamBox standards. CREATE AN ASSIGNMENT FOR MULTIPLE STUDENTS IN A CLASSROOM USING THE ASSIGNFOCUS TAB: 1) With desired classroom from the Insight Dashboard selected, click the AssignFocus tab from the Reports Pane. 2) Click Add Assignment in top-right corner to create a new assignment. 3) Select Short-Term Assignment (1-2 weeks) or Long-Term Assignment (2-10 weeks) 4) Select the Assignment Duration. 5) Select the Grade level and Domain from the drop-down menus and then select the Standard assignment will address. *A Long-Term Assignment includes the option All standards in domain (provide students with lessons from across the domain until they are proficient in all associated standards, the assignment expires, or the assignment is stopped). 6) If you would like to preview samples of the different lessons that the standard includes, click Just Started Lesson, In-Progress Lesson, or Review Lesson 7) Check the boxes of all students you would like to receive the assignment. • Students are separated into columns by their current progress in the standard. • A calendar icon indicates the student already has an active Short-Term Assignment or Long-Term Assignment. Hover over the calendar icon to view the assigned standard, the educator that made the assignment, and the due date of the assignment. • A student's name may be faded and unable to be selected if: • The student already has two assignments. • The student already has an open assignment for this standard. • You are assigning a Long-Term Assignment in a standard the student is already proficient in. 8) Click Add Assignment in the lower-right corner of the dashboard to save the new assignment. USING THE STANDARDS TAB: • With the desired classroom selected, click the Standards tab from the Reports Pane. • Select the Grade level of the standard(s) you wish to assign and select Grid View from the drop-down menus at the top of the report. • Review the report to see the progress your students are making in each standard. • When you are ready to create an assignment, click the blue AssignFocus calendar icon under the desired standard. • You will be taken to the Add New Assignment page of the AssignFocus tab, but the Grade level, Domain, and Standard will automatically be filled. • Select Short-Term Assignment or Long-Term Assignment and the Assignment Duration. • Use the checkboxes to choose which students will receive the assignment. • Click Add Assignment in the lower-right corner of the dashboard to save the new assignment.
